Ciao! Manhattan DVD Movie
Ciao! Manhattan Description: "For some a primary source document of the 1960s, for others a transcendal viewing experience, Ciao! Manhattan (1972) is a groundbreaking American independent film best remembered as the last screen appearance of Andy Warhol "Superstar" Edie Sedgwick, after her 15 minutes of fame had elapsed. Shot by underground filmmakers John Palm & David Weisman in 1967 (black-and-white) and 1970 (color), its experimental plot careens between flashbacks of fabled celebrity, video surveillance, crackpot billionaires, UFOs, shock therapy and sexual addiction. The film also stars Warhol Factory luminaries Paul America, Viva, Brigid Berlin and Baby Jane Holzer, along with Texan hitchhiker Wesley Hayes, veteran Hollywood star Isabel Jewell, French director Roger Vadim, Christian Marquand and Beat poet Allen Ginsberg.
