Culled from the BBC (UK) and INF (France) archives of the 1950s, '60s, and '70s, the selections are taken from various music festivals, recitals, and recording studio sessions. The original footage is carefully restored and compiled by music historians in order to present an overview of each artist's representative work. This installment features violinist Christian Ferras. Selected works include compositions by Sibelius (1965), Stravinsky (1963 and 1967), Franck (1963), Bach (1958), Fauré (1973) and Dinicu (1973). Bonus footage includes a Mozart concerto performance by the Orchestre de la Société des Concerts du Conservatoire, featuring conductor Jerzy Semkow and violinist Zino Francescatti."
