Carlene Carter Live in London DVD Movie
Carlene Carter Live in London Description: "Step-daughter of the late, great Johnny Cash, Carlene Carter belongs to a family whose name has been synonymous with country music since the 1920s. In 1977 Carlene secured her first recording contract. Three albums and a sold-out tour later, Carlene moved into films and on to the London stage in the critically-acclaimed musical production of Pump Boys and Dinettes. By the early 80s Carlene had built up a substantial British following with a repertoire of self-penned and co-written country-rock songs such as “I'm the Kind of Sugar Daddy Likes” and “Do It in a Heartbeat” written with Nick Lowe. In this program she even pays tribute to one of rock n roll's greatest songwriters, Otis Blackwell, performing his song “Breathless.” If you think you know Carlene Carter, be prepared for a surprise. The girl can rock."
